Climate change belief not split along political divide

As the sun beams down on southeast Queensland's vast, sprawling terrain, the team of researchers from QUT have discovered something remarkable - the climate change beliefs of people in the peri-urban region is not dependent on political orientation. In fact, the survey revealed that 64% of the study’s climate change believing participants were made up of those who lean right and left politically. On the other side of the climate change debate, the researchers found that those who rejected the notion of climate change were overwhelmingly right-wing in their political views. AusVaxSafety data show that COVID-19 vaccines are safe in over 200,000 Australian children

Australian children aged 5–15 years report fewer side effects in the days following mRNA COVID-19 vaccination than those reported in clinical trials and published safety data, new AusVaxSafety-led research has found. The rate of side effects reported was similar across sex and Indigenous status, but increased with age and was higher for children with parent-reported chronic medical conditions. The Australian Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) says side effect rates are below what has been observed internationally for this age group. No self-reported cases of myocarditis or pericarditis were reported in Australia. [...]
