UK: Jeremy Corbyn Will Not lead Labour but is proud of the campaign
UK Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn says he will not lead the party in any future general election campaign” admitting his party has had a “disappointing night”.
He also stated that they will have a discussion on the reflection of the party, the result, and policies and will lead the party during the process. He said he was very proud of the campaign and that they didn’t descend into the gutter and didn’t resort to personal abuse.
The UK Conservatives are set to win majority in UK general election, according to exit poll for BBC, ITV and Sky.
It is also reported that Liberal Democrat leader Jo Swinson narrowly loses her Dunbartonshire East seat to SNP.
