37-year-old Sydney to face court over sexual assault
A 37-year-old Sydney man charged with sexual assault will face court today. It is alleged that he met his victim through an online dating app, Bumble.
The police believe that the man pretended to be a doctor and then met up with his 26-year-old victim in the city’s east.
The man is charged with raping the victim inside a Boyce Road unit at Maroubra before driving her to Mascot Railway Station where she caught the train home and made a complaint against the man.
The man was charged with two counts of indecent assault, two counts of aggravated sexual assault without consent and hindering a person executing a crime scene.
The alleged attacker was refused bail and is expected to face Waverley Local Court today.
