Actor John Jarratt from Wolf Creek charged with historical sexual assault
It is reported that actor John Jarratt has been charged by NSW Police over allegations of sexual assault dating back to the 1970s.
NSW Police allege Jarratt sexually assaulted a woman in Sydney’s east in the 1970s.
In a statement, authorities allege the assault occured in September 1976 at a home on Daintrey Pl in Randwick.
Jarratt is an Australian television and film actor, producer and director, who rose to fame through his work in the Australian New Wave. He is best known for portraying the main antagonist Mick Taylor in the Wolf Creek film series.
