Sweden: Synagogue in Gothenburg attacked

Up to 20 rioters attacked a synagogue in Gothenburg, Sweden. The attack comes as Muslim protests continue against U.S President Trump’s decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel

A Group of Jewish students were reportedly holding a party inside the synagogue when the building was attacked and a Molotov cocktail bottle was thrown leading to a fire.

Police have cordoned off the area around the synagogue and the youth group moved to the basement for their safety until security forces arrived.
