Qld LNP keeping costing information from Qlders during election

Queensland’s LNP is refusing to explain how they plan to pay for more than $2 billion worth of election commitments.

LNP leader Tim Nicholls says the party will release the information 48 hours before the polls open.

Mr Nicholls has been unable to say how his latest programs will be funded, even though he claims they are fully funded and coasted.

The Opposition leader also claims that household electricity bills will be lower if he is elected, even though when Tim Nicholls was Campbell Newman’s Treasurer he tried to sell electricity assets and prices skyrocketed by 43%.

When Newman-Nicholls LNP were in government, they cut 14,000 Queensland jobs, including frontline health staff such as nurses.

Queensland Council of Unions General Secretary Ros McLennan says “Tim Nicholls was Campbell Newman’s treasurer and right-hand man and behind every bad LNP decision,”

“When Nicholls was in government he devastated Queensland with his agenda to cut, sack and sell.”
