Charities Now Abandon Trump 

The American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, The American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Komen Foundation have abandon Trump.

Trump’s woes continue with some of the United State’s largest charities now deserting him. The American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, The American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Komen Foundation have announced that they are cancelling upcoming events at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property in Palm Beach.

The charities dumping Trump comes days after Trump’s business councils deserted him because of the President insistence that counter-protesters in Charlottesville shared some of the blame for the violence at the counter rally.

The American Red Cross has said in a statement that they have decided they cannot host their annual fundraising event at Mar-a-Lago, as it has increasingly become a source of controversy and pain for many of their volunteers, employees and supporters.

The American Cancer Society have said, “Our values and commitment to diversity are critical as we work to address the impact of cancer in every community,”

“It has become increasingly clear that the challenge to those values is outweighing other business considerations.”
