UK: PM Calls Snap Election 8 June 2017
The British PM has called a snap general Election for the 8 June 2017. Downing Street has always denied a vote would be held before the next scheduled poll in 2020.
Prime Minister May claiming she only came to early election decision ‘reluctantly and recently.’
MS May says that the only way to “guarantee certainty and stability for the years ahead is to hold this election and seek your support for the decisions I must take”.
