64% of Australians agree that renewable energy is the solution to our future energy needs

Desire all the vitriol from the Turnbull Government and negative press around renewable energy the latest Essential Vision reports shows 64% of Australians agree that renewable energy is the solution to our future energy needs,  while a slim 14% think it is a threat to future energy supply.

While  51% of South Australians think it is the solution.
When it came to the recent blackouts 45% believe that are due mainly to failures of the energy market in responding to extreme weather events, 19% think they are mainly due to privatization of electricity supply. 

Good news also the Labor Party with 65% of Australians approving of  the party’s commitment to a target of 50% renewable energy by 2030. 

60% agree that climate change is happening and is caused by human.
