The Queen has been resting on her private estate Sandringham

The Queen did not attending the annual New Years Day church service at her private home in Sandringham due illness.

“Her Majesty The Queen will not attend Sunday worship at Sandringham today,” the spokesperson said as quoted by The Telegraph newspaper.

The Queen has been suffering from a heavy cold for over a week, her majesty has also missed the Christmas Day service.
