Russia: Foreign Ministry Proposes Putin To Expel 35 US Diplomats

Russia’s foreign ministry has proposed that Vladimir Putin expel 35 U.S diplomats following Obama’s decision to expel 35 Russian diplomats. Russian Government had already ordered the closure of the American School of Moscow in retaliation of US Sanctions,

Sergei Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister, commented that Moscow will not leave the USA’s sanctions against Russia over the hacking without a response. The Russian claim that the American’s allegation that Russian hacked the Democratic party database and other instituions were baseless.

“US administration’s manners are quite obvious… We, of course, cannot leave these tricks [new US sanctions against Russia] unanswered. Reciprocity is the law of diplomacy and foreign relations,” Lavrov said.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev stated the outgoing administration of President Barack Obama was ending in “anti-Russian death throes”.
