Offical Results: Clinton Trumps Trump By 2.9 Million Popular Votes

With the rubber stamping of Trump’s election by the Electoral College  the USA 2016 Election is now over. Witht he end of the election Certified nd the  results have been realesed and the breaking down of the figures show that Hillary Clinton trumped Trump in the populor vote by 2.9 million votes (48.2%).

In raw numbers Ms Clinton received 65,844954, while Trump got 62,979,879. This result for Clinton makes her one of the best performing losing candidates in US electoral history. She even surpassed Obama 2012 result by 389,994.

Strong supporter and Californian Democrat Senator Barbara Boxer has introduced a bill to abolish the Electoral College and New York Congressman Charlie Rangel has brought forth a companion legislation in the House of Representatives.

With Clinton remarkable results in the popular vote, Trump has been one of the worst performing wining candidates. Trump win has been tainted by suggestion that the Russians help him win the election by means of illegal hacking. However, we have yet to see hard evidence from the White House or U.S. intelligence community confirming accusations that Russian intelligence meddled in the U.S. electoral process.

U.S. President Barack Obama says the United States will take action against Russia or any other foreign government that tries to meddle in U.S. elections.

“I think there is no doubt that when any foreign government tries to impact the integrity of our elections … we need to take action. And we will,” the president told National Public Radio in an interview to be broadcast Friday morning.

Bill Clinton was asked by journalist if Trump was smart and he responded with “He doesn’t know much. One thing he does know is how to get angry, white men to vote for him,”
