Labor: Turnbull Government choosing a $50 billion tax gift for big business over Australia’s AAA credit rating
The Australian Labor Party has said that the Turnbull Government is choosing a $50 billion tax gift for big business over protecting Australia’s coveted AAA credit rating. The ALP has also warned that if Australia’s AAA rating is lost, families’ mortgage repayments will go up.
Chris Bowen has said that the Australian Labor Party will provide better alternatives to the Federal Government’s flawed budget. Mr Bowen also said that they will continue to stand up for those who are disadvantaged. He also said that they are not going to support measures that Labor has constantly opposed since 2014.
The Opposition has called on the government to stop blaming others and to accept responsibility for the current situation and to work with the current parliament.
