ACCC Wins High Court Battle With Flight Cente

The long running battle was over Flight Centre’s approach to various airlines between 2oo5 and 2009.

It alleged that Flight Centre induce the airlines into contracts on fare prices, after it became concerned they were selling tickets directly to customers at lower rates than Flight Centre could offer.

The High Court ordered the case to return to the Federal Court to determine the penalties.
