Brisbane Stands Against Homophobia After Teen’s Suicide
The people of Brisbane took a stand against homophobia int he wake of the suicide of 13 year Tyrone Unsworth. Young Tyrone took his life after constant bullying around his sexuality.
As hundreds gathered in Brisbane today to make the life of Tyrone they also called for the implementation of the Safe Schools program. Participants heard that action has to be taken to protect young people like Tyrone. ” We can’t just let Tyrone be another lost person” said rally organiser Jessica Payne. She said that action has to be taken.
