Russia Pulls Out Of International Criminal Court

Russian President Vladimir Putin has order the withdrawal of Russia from the International Criminal Court. According to Sputnik News, the Russian President has instructed the Russian Foreign Ministry to send the relevant notification to the Secretry-General of the United Nations. 

The Russian Government claims that the International Criminal Court has not justified hopes placed upon it and did not become a truly independent and authoritative judicial body.
