Low wage growth continues for Australian workers with only 0.4% for the September 2016 quarter. Private sector wages grew 0.4 per cent and public sector wages grew 0.6 per cent in the September quarter 2016.

The accommodation and food services industry recorded the highest quarterly rise of 1.7 per cent in September quarter 2016 and the mining industry recorded the lowest quarterly rise of 0.1 per cent.
