USA Approves $785Mln Weapons Sale to UAE

The USA’s State Department has approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to the United Arab Emirates(UAE) for munitions, sustainment and support.

The UAE asked for $740,000,000 in guidance kits and bombs, as well as $45,000,000 of non-major defense equipment, the release noted.

The sale of the weapons is part of the USA’s foreign policy and national security strategy.

It is hoped that the sale will help the UAE remain in the fight against ISIS.
