Germany: Dozens Injured In Axe Attack On Train In Wurzburg
A 17 year old from Afghanistan with an axe has attacked people on board a train traveling between Wurzburg-Heidingsfeld and Ochsenfurt, in central Germany.
Police have confirmed that between 10 and 15 people have been injured. German local media have reports that suggest that up to 21 people could have been injured.Witnesses say the attacker fled the scene after the initial attack and was later shot by police.
A hand-drawn ISIS flag was found in the 17 year old attackers room.
ISIS has claimed responsibility for 17 year-old train attacker saying he was one of their soldiers.
Security official say a note found in the attacker’s room indicates he may have been self-radicalised.
