Senator-Elect Pauline Hanson has told Prime Minster Turnbull that she will not back away from her views around Islam.
Speaking on the phone to the Prime Minister she reiterated that her crusade against Islam and Muslims would continue.
Hanson said “…I also told him I will not back down on my issues to do with Islam,”
“We cannot back away from these views and we cannot just ignore a religion or an ideology that does not and is not compatible with the Australian culture and way of life.”
Hanson has made suggestion that Burqas should be banned, Mosques installed with CCTV to monitor activities and that Halla certification funds terrorism.
She has also claimed that Islam is not a religion but and ideologue that seeks to destroy “western” values.
