ABS: Unemployment Rate Up To 5.8%, Hours Of Work Decline

The Australian Bureau of Statistics has released figures that show jobs in Australia have grown by just 0.07% while unemployment rose from 5.7%
to 5.8%.

Employment figures have also show
that the hours worked have also
declined. The participation rate has edged higher to just 64.9 percent.
