Civil War In The Liberal Party – Mirabella Liberal HQ Out To Undermine Her

The civil war in the Liberal party has now spilled over into the election campaign. The former member for Indi Sophie Mirabella speculates the Victorian Liberal Party campaign headquarters is out to get her and is behind a series of leaks to journalists designed to weaken her chances of election.

Mirabella asserts she can still be an effective local member, saying “quite frankly, it doesn’t matter what Collins Street says”

Mirabella is up against independent Cathy McGowan who took the seat from Mirabella in the 2013 election. Cathy McGowan holds the seat on a 0.3% margin.
