Day two on the election campaign Mr. Shorten has highlighted that the Australian Greens party don’t care about beating the Liberals but are more concerned about fighting the Labor Party.
Speaking on ABC radio this morning in Townsville the opposition leader said “the Greens aren’t running seriously in any seat against the Liberal Party.”
” A vote for Greens, in marginal seats in Victoria for example, will be funnelled to the Liberal Party.” commented Mr. Shorten
“And a vote for Liberal in the inner-city seat also be funnelled to the Greens. It’s politics. It’s cynical, it shows the Greens are a political party.”
Mr. Shorten highlighted that a split in the progressive vote would be the worst thing for Australia.
