Labor: Every Child In Every School Will Be Better Off Under Labor
Labor plans to give principals and educators the support and resources to deliver programs which make a real difference to the learning outcomes of students.
Labor has said that in contrast to their positive plan to fund Australian schools, Malcolm Turnbull is promising cuts of $29 billion to Australia’s classrooms over the next decade. Turnbull’s cuts will negatively impact on the future of Australian students and the future of Australia.
Speaking in Townsville today Kate Ellis, Shadow Minister for Education, said: “Malcolm Turnbull may want to talk about youth and jobs. But let’s be very, very clear, you don’t care about youth and jobs if you don’t care about an adequately supported, quality education system.”
