Bowen: Turnbull wants to take Australia back to Pre WWII days

In a scathing critique of Turnbull’s double tax plan Shadow Treasurer Chris Bowen said Mr Turnbull’s plan “will take us back to the arrangements that existed before World War 2”

If the plan is introduced Mr Bowen
said it would be a compliance
nightmare for Australia.

Mr Bowen said “The Liberal Party
is promising eight different income
tax regimes accorss Australia,”

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews
said the double tax plan “does not
make any sense” and Greens
leader senator di Natale says the
plan will lead to competition between
states to cut taxes.
