Liberal Party Civil War Heats Up: “Turnbull Campaigning on my Record”

The civil war within the Liberal Party has broken out in public again. Tony Abbott said on Sky News last night that the Turnbull government is campaigning onThe Abbott governments record.

Mr Abbott said: “it’s easy for me to campaign for the election of the Turnbull Government because the Turnbull Government is running on the Abbott Government’s record…”

Turnbull has fired back by saying the deposed former Prime Minister is wrong. He said that many policies and initiatives have been announced, as well as legislation being passed like voting and media reform.

“The bottom line is continuity and there is change” said the unelected Prime Minister
