The Chinese President has demanded absolute loyalty to the Communist Party of China from the States media. He has told editors and journalists that they must follow the parties leadership in “thoughts, politics and action.”
He also highlighted that the country’s media is run by the Communist Party and the government and are propaganda fronts for the Communist Party and the government. He said that the media in China must reflect the Communist party’s will and safeguard the parties leadership.
The president also said in a speech to the editors and journalists,” they must love the party, protect the party, and closely align themselves with the party leadership…”
The visit to the state-run media companies are a sign of the President and the Communist Party’s tighter control over the media and the President’s unceasing effort to consolidate his power.
