The Eiffel Tower in Paris was lit up in red, white and blue lights on Monday evening, in memorial for all the victims who were killed in Friday’s deadly attacks in the French capital. The memorial is to last for three days. The lighting up of the tower will be from nightfall until 1 am local time.
In support of the victims and condemnation of ISIS, a Muslim man from Miyagi, Singapore, Sulaiman Daud, posted a statement saying the Islamic State is a “cancer at the heart of Islam,”
Mr Daud also commented, “…if you feel that Muslims are being oppressed or killed in Muslim countries, I expect you to also be just as outraged by ISIS. Because they have killed more Muslims in Iraq, Syria and Jordan than the entire US army.”
