Bill shorten said that it is noticeable that fighting and instability of the Liberian-National government will continue due to the fact that those who were rewarded with positions in the new cabinet were loyal and staunch supporters of Mr Turnbull while loyal and staunch supporters of Mr Abbott have been punished.
The leader of the opposition said that he was pleased to see more women appointed to positions in the cabinet however it was deeply disappointing that there was no Minister for disability.
Mr Shorten said that Australians don’t want to see more new faces in the cabinet but they would rather see new policy is coming from the government.
Mr Shorten also highlighted that the liberal party was panicking to save their own jobs and that’s why they got rid of Tony Abbott.
The opposition leader said that he wasn’t interested in the government ministers going toe to toe with the opposition ministers but rather in the debate of ideas on what is best for Australia.
Mr Shorten welcomed the fact that Tony Abbott was no longer the Prime Minister of Australia but was concerned that the new prime minister Malcolm Turnbull was still carrying out some of the policies of the former prime minister.
