Military reports out of the Korean peninsula have stated that North Korea has doubled its artillery power and that 70 percent of the North Korean Navy submarines have left their faces and their locations are not confirmed. North Korea has around 70 submarines in total which means that around 50 submarines have left their bases.
The announcement has been made while inter-Korean meetings have been taking place to resolve the tension between the two nations. The cause of the latest flareup is because North Korea has demanded that South Korea remove loudspeakers from the demilitarised zone broadcasting propaganda into North Korea. North Korea has threatened that if they aren’t removed they will be attacked, the South Koreans have responded that in case of fire on the broadcasting stations in the demilitarised zone the South Korean forces will counter-attack.
