Islamic Rebels, ISIS, Take Iraqi Town On Border With Syria
Security officials say fighters with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIL, took the border town of Qaim overnight after a day of heavy fighting on Friday.
In related news the Iranians have accused Obama of not being serious in wanting to fight terrorism with the USA plan to only send advisers to Iraq to help fight the Islamic rebels.
The Iranians have said that recent comments from the Obama administration showed that the USA lacked serious will for confronting terrorism in the region.
Iran has said that they are closely watching the situation in Iraq.
