Prisoners tortured and attacked-Angola

Amnesty international is calling for the investigation of footage from Angola showing prison guards and firefighters beating prisoners in Angolan prisons. The footage is five minutes and 39 seconds long and was filmed on a mobile and then distributed by social media.

The footage shows guards and firefighters dragging the prisoners and beating them one by one with batons and leather straps. The prison appears to be Viana Prison. The prison made the news 2011 when light industry Introduced into the prison to make it productive and able to generate conditions for their self sustenance and food supply chain from the Ministry of Interior.
